Big believer in social media and team collaboration, both virtual and actual. In the corporate environment, he has successfully launched and managed several Enterprise Communities of Practice in Hewlett Packard. He initiated one of the first virtual communities inside HP around accounting and financial practices back in 2004. He has held various positions in Finance, Information Systems and Operations, including as CFO and Controller for Hewlett Packard Venezuela and the Global Compliance Manager in the business of Printing Systems Management at HP Experienced educator. In 1996 he had the distinction of “Borrego de Oro” as the best professor assessed throughout the entire campus at ITESM Guadalajara. Member of several nonprofit Hispanic and professionals associations in Houston. José Luis became president of the Houston Chapter of the Mexican Talent Network since August 2010. Co-founder and active member of the Alumni Association ITESM (ExATecs). First-generation participant of the Emerging Latino Leaders Workshop in Houston, sponsored by the American Jewish Council and the Mexican Consulate in Houston.
